Today we visited Jewsons in Rotherham to choose some wood that we needed to clad the side of our new pond. Upon arriving we bumped into Alan in the yard who had helped us a few weeks ago. Alan is one of the most helpful people we've ever met in any retail store. He helped us choose the best wood for what we needed, helped us with the amount that we needed, helped us work out our measurements and what would work best and even also worked out the best way to cut the wood to fit in our car!! As much as I wouldn't like to admit, we were really indecisive about what we wanted but Alan helped us all the way in such an amazing manner. If every business had an Alan like this Alan then their business is sure to succeed. Just from the two encounters we've had now with Alan, we 100% wouldn't go anywhere else for any projects we need involving wood. It may seem excessive to write such a review but there are many trades businesses out there who don't accommodate for the clientele who haven't got a clue about about trade work and many we have felt almost intimidated by. Huge thanks to Alan who's such a huge asset to Jewsons Rotherham. Big thanks. Nick & Nic.

Alan is a star at Jewson. I had no idea and he was extremely helpful. Will definitely come again for any DIY projects in the future.
