Getting far too busy to even enjoy a spa session these days. Nothing relaxing about it! but they don’t care they just keep piling members in and doing cheap deals to get more and more when it’s busy enough already! what about the loyal members that’s been here years? overcrowded is an understatement. And don’t get me started on the hygiene and lack of cleaners! Wouldn’t bother. Going down hill FAST more focused on new members that will cancel after a few months rather then keeping the long term members that have been coming for years happy! Makes sense

Abz is a brilliant PT who has made going to the gym an enjoyable experience - for the first time ever! I’ve gone from feeling self conscious on the gym floor and sticking to swimming, classes, and the machines, to feeling confident and knowledgable with all aspects, in particular around weight training. He’s patient, considerate, and a joy to be around. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. The wider team at Virgin Sheffield are always helpful and lovely, too!

Really enjoyed my experience at Virgin so far. I’ve been there for about half a year. Much better kept than local competitors, can get busy at times you’d expect but very much fine most times of the day and works well for me. I use the crèche, pool and PT Abz who is fantastic and the most up beat motivating person you will meet 😁

I recently joined Virgin Active Sheffield and had an outstanding experience thanks to Oli and George. From the moment I walked in, they made the whole process smooth, professional, and actually enjoyable. Both Oli and George took the time to understand what I was looking for in a gym, walked me through the facilities, and clearly explained all the membership options without any pressure. Their energy and genuine enthusiasm for helping people get started made a huge difference. Head office have been absolutely awful to my sister who has been a long standing member of virgin gym, causing her mental heath to deteriorate after her financial situation changed. She would have stayed a member but they have billed her for PT sessions she has not used and are still insisting she pays more. Absolutely zero customer loyalty and support. Otherwise the staff at the gym and in PT are wonderful but it was out of their hands.
