Great to see Sheffield lights up before Christmas, with the mural animated by laser projectors. It brightened up a lot of people. I heard one complaint from an insensitive person, who did not realize the cost spread over the population of Sheffield, was negligible, possibly even grant aided. Shame what a sour puss. It highlighted the park for people.
Good park to hangout with kids and family.. open 24 hours.. located at the centre of sheffield, this park offers calm and relaxing atmosphete.. slides and swings for children along with lighted pavements and decorated playarea
Sooo much better than a disused fire station! Wonderful use of public space, using materials and landscaping to a high standard, aligning nicely with the charter row corner. Great to see so many kids enjoying it, too. I'd struggle to think of a better city centre park for this purpose in the UK!
Nice little area in the city centre for the kids to blow off a little steam. The water feature was working, too. It's not the biggest or best playground in the city, but it's alreyt to keep the kids entertained. It's manned by City Centre ambassadors, so hopefully, it won't get wrecked by idiots.
Lovely spot in the middle of town, suitable for all ages I’d say with sand and water play for little ones (suitable all year round with the right clothes/kit!) and big climbing structure, climbing wall and slide for the bigger ones. Beautifully designed with plants and greenery and there are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities on the site! My 3 and 6 year old love it.
