My brother recommended this place to me, and I’m so glad he did. We visited on 10 August 2025 with both of our families for the breakfast buffet. The food was fresh, delicious & had a great variety of traditional dishes to start the day.The selection of traditional dishes was fantastic everything tasted fresh and delicious. I like Halwa Puree, Haleem, Nihari, Payee and Desi Tea. There is a car park right in front of the building (don't forget to register your plate inside) To get to the buffet, you need to enter through the back door rather than the main street entrance. It was excellent value at around £14.95 for adults and £9.95 for children. Thank you for ur service :)

*Worst Surprise Food Bag Ever! 😡* I'm writing this review to warn others about the absolute disaster I bought the surprise food bag. The food was burnt, uneaten, and looked like leftover pan scrapings 🤢. It was a complete waste of money and went straight into the bin. The smell was awful, and I'm still gagging thinking about it . *0/5 stars ⭐️* Do not, I repeat, DO NOT buy this surprise food bag. It's a rip-off and a health hazard. Find a new way to get rid of old food, because this is unacceptable 😤. Really disappointment The bag was supposed to be worth £15, but I paid £5.5 for what turned out to be a bag of unappetising 🤢 feed. The food was completely unacceptable and not fit for human consumption. The portion size was ridiculously small, and the overall experience was extremely unpleasant. I am shocked and disappointed by the lack of quality and professionalism displayed. Don't waste money, don't recommend

We have been going to the Aagrah chain of Kashmiri restaurants in Yorkshire and enjoying their consistently fantastic food since the mid 1980s, shortly after they opened their first restaurant in Shipley in 1977. Our current favourite is the buffet lunch at the Shipley Aagrah, which is fantastic value for just £13.95. There is an a large carte restaurant downstairs, which opens in the evening from 5pm to 11pm. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor with a buffet lunch for £13.95 (Wed to Sat 10am to 3pm) and an evening buffet for £23.95 (every day 5pm to 11pm). There is also a large private dinning room on the first floor. Entry to the buffet restaurant for lunch is up the ramp around the side of the restaurant with an alternative entrance at the front in the evenings when the ground floor a la carte restaurant is also open. There are a small number of parking spaces in front of the restaurant, with 3 disabled spaces, and diners are required to enter their car registration numbers into a screen at the entrance of the restaurant for free parking, to avoid paying a parking penalty fee. On street parking near the restaurant is very limited during the day. There is a reduced choice for the lunch buffet compared to the evening buffet, however, there's still plenty of choice for us. There a refrigerated display for salads & sauces to accompany papadoms and a good selection of 4-5 starters with a couple of vegetarian options. There are usually 3-4 meat curry and a couple of vegetarian curries for main courses with pilau rice, nans and other breads as accompliments. There's a small selection of deserts available, however, ice creams aren't included for the lunch buffet and are only served for the evening buffet. Bottles of free tap water are provided to diners. Alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and hot beverages can also be ordered. One aspect I like is that free hot sweet Indian cha is available in an urn for diners to help themselves to. As I have been going to the Aagrah restaurants for so many years I know most of the long serving staff who always greet me with a warm smile and handshake. They are always very helpful, attentive and hospitable. We enjoy going to the Aagrah and keep on going back as the standard of their food is so consistently good and the quality of their cooking is so authentic with each different curry having its own distinct flavour and taste - alot of the smaller Indian restaurants only use 2 types of base sauces for all their dishes, which is why their curries taste very similar to each other.

Great Ambiance. Service was a little slow. Not many dishes but good choice of menu. Meat dishes were outstanding except Haleem.
