Most of the staff in here seem to be in the wrong job. They are impolite and make it seem like you are troubling them. No wonder the Post Office and Royal Mail are in a mess. I try and use the other shops elsewhere in Skipton or use alternative services.

I visit, or used to visit this Post Office regularly. But no more. I've never known such a miserable, unhelpful and negative bunch of staff such as the cackle that are behind the counter here. The 'ladies' are negative beyond belief, I have witnessed this on many occasions whilst in the queue. Every task they're asked to do appears like you've asked them something completely unreasonable and beyond human expectations. They then look at each other for back up, or to grumble whilst being as unhelpful as possible. Seriously, if you don't like your job that much, especially in such a busy, public facing position.... Quit! I almost didn't go in to pay money into my account on this occasion. Due to the dread of the service and misery. I wish I didn't... More misery afoot... A guy was asking to collect a parcel that had been redirected there, only for the 'lady' behind the counter to tell him rather abruptly... No, it did come here, but I refused it... So you'll have to contact the delivery service that has your parcel . The way she said, 'I refused it' was in such an entitled way and as if she'd been offended beyond belief that a parcel of all things was brought to the Post Office on a redirection. The poor guy didn't know what to say or do with himself. This is just one of many many incidents that I've witnessed, some at first hand. I will not be going to this branch again.

A bustling post office which does a great job of sending our letters and parcels. Most of the staff are very nice, but there's one particular lady can be quite rude. It shares the space with a Subway sandwich shop which is bizarre, it always smells of fast food.

After walking in today after simply asking for some information from the elderly lady on the front desk I was met with abuse and mistreatment. The elderly lady seems to forget that she works in customer service. I was simply enquiring about forms needed to be renew a passport and was met with stupid questions about how a family member would β€˜ get home β€˜ extremely UKIP behaviour and I will not tolerate it. Avoid at all costs, this one individual is ruining the entire post office for everyone. The sub way members of staff were shocked and disgusted by her behaviour and so am I.

I would like to say a big Thank you to Maggie at Skipton Post Office. I had a problem I did not know how to deal with last week. Maggie was very helpful and very kind, it made a big difference to my day. Thank you 😊😊😊
