Slingsby Camping and Caravanning Club Site

A beautiful site set in a picturesque village, peaceful and tranquil, lovely walks nearby and a village pub within walking distance.The site itself is well maintained, the toilet and shower blocks are spotless. As you arrive you are met with beautiful colourful plants and hanging baskets , a beautiful touch. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble, 5 star service received from Debbie, Frankie, Clair and Mark. It is so refreshing to visit a site where the managers and wardens are passionate about their work it is clearly noticeable, I cannot wait to return . Just got home another few days at this lovely, quiet site. New manager Debbie and staff are very friendly and helpful. The site is lovely and tidy As is the toilet/shower block. A lovely quiet and peaceful place with lovely walks and an excellent village pub. Will be back in a few weeks.

First time staying here and met by a very helpful & friendly member of staff. Lovely quiet place with walks opposite the entrance. Can't wait to come again.

Lovely, relaxing site. Dog walk straight off the site, already booked for next year. Site managers very helpful and efficient.

Lovely campsite but expensive though having to pay for electric when we didn't need it. We're members of the CCC but rarely stay on club sites because they are usually way over budget for us, we stick to the farm sites. The managers of the site didn't have the site organised at the beginning with showers not working and bins overflowing, it seemed like they weren't enjoying their job as I heard them arguing in the toilets at one point, which they seem to clean very quickly and it showed! The assistant wardens were very good though, helped us with a few issues we had.
