Morgan 's Barber Shoppe

I'd been to Morgans previously but despite getting a great haircut, I went back to trying to save a fiver with the abundant Turkish barbers. Many poor results later, I paid Morgans a visit again and I'm so very glad I did. My previous barbers had butchered my hair pretty badly, but Sam was able to give me the best haircut I think I've ever had. Excellent attention to detail, great company and top notch skills. For the sake of the extra few quid, coming here is an absolute no brainer, and I'll be trusting Sam with my hair from now on. You pay slightly more to support a proper local business, have a great experience and get an absolutely awesome haircut. Morgans is a fantastic establishment, and Sam is a wizard. Recommend without hesitation.

Fantastic cut as always. Been to quite a few barbers in my time but been going to Morgan’s now for about 5 years and can’t see me going elsewhere now. The time spent and attention to detail is second to none. All the staff are very experienced and know exactly what they’re doing even if like me, you don’t really know what you want doing with your beard and hair. Good quality products used, no expense is spared and although some may think services are expensive, it is incredibly good value for the service that you get. This is also seen when you take into account the fantastic customer service received. All the staff make you feel very welcome and at ease whether you are a regular or a first timer. As well as a fantastic hair cut, you are also guaranteed to have a good old laugh when at Morgan’s to the good spirit of the staff which in such difficult times we are goi g through is very nice to see. If you are thinking of trying out Morgan’s barbers, try it, you won’t want to go anywhere else!

I called to book an appointment and the lady in the phone was lovely. Came to my appointment a little early but managed to get parked outside the shop. I was with Sam absolutely lovely guy, loved the vibes and the music. Showed him a picture of what I was looking for and managed to do it with perfection. I’m very happy with how it’s turned out. Will definitely be coming back

My experience with Morgan’s Barbers: Booked via their website for a 30 minute - Standard Gents cut at £19.50. Found it easy to book online, I got a text reminder to confirm my appointment, and overall it was a good experience. Turned up on the morning of my appointment on time and got seen to on time, by a chap called Jamie, who greeted me after (I’m assuming) rushed back from a fag break, as I was hit with the fresh smell of a stale ashtray (not that I have anything against smokers (as an ex smoker myself), it just wasn’t the most pleasant experience). This could have been made good by at least making some kind of effort to build rapport with me (a new and potentially returning customer), a little small talk wouldn’t go amiss , but no, nothing. Then onto the hair cut: their website states (as you click to book) that you are paying for a 30 minute hair cut. I’m not being dramatic when I say this but the whole cut took just under 5 minutes, very rushed and slap dash, not even time for a paper towel or blow dryer around your neck afterwards to remove the excess hair; I had to ask the guy, as I was paying, for something to wipe the excess hair from my face. And no offer of any gel or wax afterwards. Fair to say I left disappointed. The end result (the hair cut): about as good as a 5 minute hair cut can be, not that bad that I need to get it redone (I can live with it), but it’s certainly not a sharp cut (some hairs longer around the ears, no sharpening of the forehead hairs etc). And certainly not as good as the cut I usually get from my usual place, which is £8.50 less than Morgan’s. I give 2 stars simply because the booking process is good, if it wasn’t for that it would be 1 star. Sorry, but that was a bad service!

I have been going to Morgan's for a few years now. It continually provides a great service. Good high quality haircuts and a friendly environment. Really pleased to have such a good barbers in the nearby area.
