Old Oak Tree

Called here today for lunch. Brilliant service from the 2 young ladies. Meals where homemade and fresh, and very reasonable prices. I had gammon and the steak was 16oz absolutely huge. No frozen chips and fresh veg. Beer is good, again good prices.

Superb food, welcoming and dog friendly too !! .. Staying just "down the road" we mainly ate out and this place didnt disappoint. The food was hot, well portioned and plentiful. Def recommended, and a place we will return to in the future

We went to the Old Oak Tree for dinner. Arriving to the (on Sun- and Holidays recommended) booking, we were seated quickly. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and very tasty, with great variety. From fish to meat, you can get anything here. The Cheese and Bacon Burger was a bit dry, you definitely need some Ketchup or other sauce here, the personal will gladly bring you some for free. All other dishes were really tasty.

Popped in on our way back from a shopping trip in York. Nice looking pub, good sized car park. Food was ok. Something in there had my allergies going wild. Hope they don't have a pub cat. Service was fine, apart from the owner sitting clicking his pen repeatedly, I find that sort of thing very irritating.

Good location for us food and drinks good prices food was excellent and hot Sunday roast was the best staff were very friendly and helpful room's were good but could hear road noise
