1st time here and would 100% come back. Food was really nice and freshly cooked. Service was spot on.
THANK YOU for tantalising my taste buds tonight. My favourite dish was the sea bream, so many flavours, all detectable in a most delightful way, with crunchy roasted chickpeas just flying through and divine fish skin, an unexpected delight! Very closely followed by Japanese seared beef and prawn tacos. But was equally amazed my daughter devoured her entire plate of teriyaki chicken and slaw, twas the slaw that blew my (and her) mind, she never eats raw cabbage and there wasn’t a shred left.
It has taken almost two years - lockdown and all that - for us to find a restaurant that makes us feel like we have a small part of London in Sowerby Bridge of all places. Great service, ridiculously good taste, and superb quality… 🍱 If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Ate all the food before we could snap a photograph!! Lovely atmosphere. We sat in front of the kitchen, bit too close to the door, but was interesting to watch the kitchen staff. If I could nick-pick on anything from a business perspective, it would be seeing the cooks browse their mobile phones here and there whilst in between service - but that is being really fussy! We were not offered a wine menu and the paper napkins are a small letdown. But being super fussy as I was so impressed by the place, I want it to be even better! The table staff were excellent. We ordered 10+ dishes for 2 adults and one child. Two drinks each = £90. An absolute bargain. Wish I could have sampled all the plates… I will be coming back many times! (April 2023) Returned again with my 11 year old son for an Easter treat. We love it there. The pork belly, anchovies and chorizo are lovely. The cauliflower dish was lovely - great for vegetarians - but not for me. Heart and Soul (Vocation) on tap 🍺 too. Parking 🅿️ immediately outside if anyone needs to know.
First time visitor the food was delightful, full of choice and dietary needs. the staff were attentive and friendly will most definitely be going again, lots of other items on the menu we wanted but couldn't fit any more in. thanks for a lovely evening.
Fantastic meal here yesterday. Enjoyed every bite! Great vegan options. The tomato bread was so full of flavour, best dish we had!
