VISAR Garage

Well impressed with Visar Garage Thirsk today. Grumbling brakes on car on Friday, took it to Visar this morning at 8.30 for them to look it over 'on the 'off chance' that they might have the time. No arranged appointment. They said we'll keep it and have a look. I thought it was the front brakes, turned out to be back. All sorted in the day, just picked it up. invoice as expected in my mind. An all round excellent service. Top stuff 😁

Honestly can’t fault this team. I’ve gone to them twice since moving to the area; once for MOT and again for a brake check and repair. Called up first thing Monday morning and they asked me to bring it straight in. By 15:00pm my car was sorted and ready to pick up, despite the busy-looking garage! The team are always polite, helpful and provide all the info you need on repairs and cost.

I cannot thank VISAR enough- my car needed urgent attention and they could not have been more helpful. I phoned in the afternoon, dropped the car off in the evening and it was fixed and ready by 3pm the next day. It also cost about half what I would have paid at the dealership. Will definitely use again- thankyou!

First class service Marcus and Team getting us back on the road real quick when our car was out of action. Told to drop it straight in and they would sort the problem out and assured us not to worry. Thanks a million Andy and Amanda

Appalling service, vile attitude from the start. Booked a vehicle in for repairs and MOT two weeks prior. Arrived and was told I was hours late for the MOT which proved to be their internal lack of communication. Vehicle had a problem starting but I managed it using a power pack. Next day I was asked to remove the vehicle because they were concerned that if they put the vehicle in their workshop and it wouldn’t start again it would be stuck. Didn’t spend any time diagnosing any fault so I collected it, starting it first time with a power pack, to the surprise of one of the guys there and took it home. I thought vehicles went to garages to be fixed! Clearly not with Visar.
