Lovely hidden gallery with plenty of work from local artists. Friendly staff, very characterful building with interesting architecture and wide array of artwork, from paintings to prints and sculptures everywhere. Regular updates as well so worth revisiting every so often. Also really love visiting when there's a new exhibition opening to meet the artists and get a taste for their oeuvre.

A hidden gem tucked behind the church in Skipton! Really interesting mix of artwork, including some lovely sculptures, and the back garden with the fountain is absolutely charming. Always worth a visit whenever I’m in Yorkshire.

Mill Bridge Gallery sits within a small forecourt less than a minute’s walk from the market square in Skipton. The Gallery itself dates back to the 17th century and is a Grade II listed building. It is run by a collective of six artists, all of them local, and offers a diverse collection of high quality yet very affordable contemporary art, including paintings, ceramics, wood turnings, sculptures & greeting cards. On the second floor you’ll often find an ongoing exhibition by a guest artist or artists. There is also a studio where you can see two of the artists working, together with their work in progress. The Gallery artists are extremely helpful and always on hand to talk about their work. If you’re interested in high quality art and planning to visit Skipton, Mill Bridge Gallery is definitely the place to go. Opening hours are 11.00 am til 4.00 pm every Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

This is a charming little gallery operated by a small team of artists, passionate about their work and willing to spend time opening up the gallery and chatting to visitors. There's an excellent variety of work, and the building itself is fascinating - one of the oldest in Skipton. If you're in town don't miss it!

Really interesting art gallery in a lovely quirky building. Showcasing the work of local artists. Staffed by the artists themselves who are very friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Beautifully presented and curated works at all price points. Well worth dropping in for a visit.
