Harmony House Boutique B&B & Harmony Garden Room

My wife & I have just spent 2 lovely nights here so we could explore York in all it's festive glory. From the moment our host, Adele, opened the door we knew we'd chosen well. She's warm, friendly, fun & very welcoming. Our room was lovely, spacious & spotlessly clean. Lots of tea, coffee & hot chocolate to keep us going along with some home made cookies and chocolates which were to die for. The cooked breakfast was amazing and kept us going throughout the day. Adele gave us lots of tips in terms of where to eat, drink, grab a coffee and travel info for getting into York without the pain of driving in, all graciously received & acted upon which just made our whole experience all the more enjoyable. Great B&B, fab host, lovely location, super trip and would most definitely stay again!!! ❤️

A fabulous few days spent at Harmony House; what a homely, charming, little quirky yet wonderful place it is. The sun shone for us in the beautiful quiet village of Stillingfleet with a few good local pubs not far away. And only 10 mins from Park & Ride into York. Rooms are spotless and modern without losing the historic vibe with everything you need to enjoy your stay. There's a wide breakfast menu which was scrumptious and filling. Nothing was too much for our host Adele, whose attention to detail and ensuring our stay was enjoyable, were second to none. We'll be back, just need a reason ...... or maybe not, let's just do it!

Very pleasant stay at this guest house. Homely feel & nice scent throughout and welcoming. The guesthouse was immaculate & hostess (Adele) a nice lady who takes pride in her role & this is reflected in the calming & tranquil atmosphere she's created within her business 😊 The full cooked breakfast was nice & non-greasy so set us up nicely for the day without repeating. Also a nice selection of cakes (Gluten free available) & filter coffee on offer which were also tasty (cake full of flavour & coffee smooth and strong without being overpowering or bitter). It is set approx. 30 minutes from York Centre via car (transport definitely a must) there is few bus stops within easy reach also. No disabled access to the property so would not recommend if this is of priority. The area is extremely quiet & thr guesthouse itself silent. Check-in was at 16:00 hrs & check-out no later than 10.oo a.m. T.v (we did have to tune in the t.v) & heating within the room as well as a powerful shower that held it's temperature well. A small 'walk-in' closet room to hang up clothes & keep your bags. Also added bonus of a fridge (stocked with milk & water. Kettle & complimentary tea/coffee. Parking is available directly opposite the b&b (a layby style parking section). Also added bonus of a cosy reading nook upstairs. Would recommend staying here & lovely owner.

Harmony House is just this! Harmony, tranquil and special! I enjoyed a beautiful coffee and cake and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of the conservatory dining area. I was fortunate to be shown around the bedrooms. Each one beautifully decorated and lush soft furnishings. Adele and her staff are a delight and very accommodating and friendly. Plenty parking and a gorgeous setting overlooking the green. I can’t wait to return x

We’ve just had a fantastic two night stay here! The perfect spot for exploring York and better value than more central spots. We couldn’t fault a thing, everything had been thought of. We were comfortable, welcomed, had everything we could need. The house and room were gorgeous, super clean, and the host so friendly. Breakfast was great and we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. We got the number 42 bus from the end of the street into York which was so handy. Last bus home is at 11pm with loads of times before too! Lots of options for a full day out. Another day we used the park and ride which was only ten mins away and again, so handy! The huge bath in our room was an unexpected bonus (Evergreen room)!! Thanks for a lovely break, we’ll be back!
