We cannot recommend Blues Catering enough. From the initial enquiry, to discussions about our menu and many emails of questions and quotes for different variations of menus, to the taster session, everyone at Blues Catering were so friendly, helpful and understanding. A big thank you to Kate and Aimee, who we corresponded with throughout for all of their help in particular! The reviews and the photos we'd seen of Blues Catering, as well as our experience talking to them when enquiring gave us the confidence to book them for our wedding catering. The taster session 100% confirmed we'd made the right decision - the food was amazing and we got to try so many different things! It helped us narrow down our menu and figure out what would be best for us on the day. On the day, the presentation of the food from canapés to sharing boards were brilliant. It all looked delicious, and it absolutely tasted it too! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had and are still talking about it 3 months later! We would absolutely agree! The food was amazing and we were only sad that we couldn't eat more of it on the day due to being so full. The Blues team catered for our wedding in April 2025. We were so impressed with the service from the moment we began our inquiry. Kate provided detailed information we, answered all the questions we had and was very responsive throughout. We also had a few specific requests for our wedding breakfast food which the team were more than happy to accommodate. The menus with Blues offered a great variety of options. After booking, we had a tasting session near York prior to our wedding which was free of charge for us to decide on our food choices. We were so impressed with the food (it possibly made the decision harder with so many great options), and the team were great at discussing what could be amended etc. On our wedding day the team were fantastic! They all had a laugh with guests while service canopies, and worked so hard during the wedding breakfast to ensure everyone was served quickly. All the dietary requirements were served seamlessly, including the individual boards for the vegetarian guests. All of the food was delicious and plentiful , and guests have had many conversations trying to decide which part they liked most! We couldn't have made a better choice than the Blues team for our wedding breakfast food, and cannot recommend them enough for future couples.

Blues catering were fantastic when they catered our wedding at Thirsk Lodge Barns! Everything from the canapés to the mains bbq sharing boards to the evening food were first class. Everyone commented on how good the food was. The brisket and blues fried chicken were our favourites! One of the many things that were amazing from blues is that they checked in individually with every single person with an allergy before the food came out. I know everyone really appreciated this. Blues food is amazing, the communication brilliant and just all round a great supplier. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We used Blues for our wedding in October and the whole team could not have been any better! We were invited to a taster session at their kitchens to help us choose our menu items, and all of the food was delicious and perfectly done. Our guests wouldn't stop complimenting the BBQ sharing boards, and the slow cooked beef brisket was without a doubt the favourite. We had a few veggie, vegan and gluten free dietary requirements and the team at Blues handled it all brilliantly making sure everyone was catered to. We also used Blues for our evening food, a Bratwurst and loaded fries van, which went down like a treat! We felt extremely well looked after and any questions we had in the few weeks before the wedding were answered promptly via email by the helpful team. We will absolutely be using them again for any events we have in the future!
