InstaVolt Charging Station

Tried to use it today - 2 chargers not working (already; they’ve not been in long?) and the others occupied, so went somewhere else! UPDATE 5/12/25 Back again and the same two chargers that weren’t working last time, still aren’t working, but at least this time there were two other chargers available! Come on InstaVolt - get them fixed please, or at least a sign up to say that they’re NOT working!

You pay a the huge premium of 89p kw for very fast charge up to 150kw but you only get 60-65kw. This machine does not run at full speed but you pay for the privilege.

Really wouldn’t bother, always vans waiting to charge, 4 chargers only 2 ever working, even when plugged in these don’t run at full speed….. see people have said about only 2 chargers working 2 months ago, instavolt respond but still do nothing!! How about actually getting all 4 working, ridiculous situation.

Quick and easy to set up payment from the app to avoid £45 prepayment pending on bank card. First time we have used charging points and very straightforward

They are now open but neither CHAdeMO chargers were working today (28/06/2025) I called up instavolt who couldn’t fix it and they both had the same issue. CCS seemed to be working fine with other’s cars.
