Stokesley Post Office

Checked in to the property to find it had not been cleaned since the last occupant. Contacted the owner who became agitated and angry when we could not agree how to resolve the situation. We left the property as we were concerned for our personal safety in the light of his reaction. We are pursuing this issue with booking.com.

Great service and friendly staff. Sometimes the queue can be long but that's because it's busy! The staff try their best to reduce it as quickly as possible. Renewed my passport recently and it was fantastic service.

3 booths. 1 open. 2 people behind counter. Queue fifteen deep. Young lad with no clue what he is doing behind open booth. Second person not helping him even though he is a trainee of some sort and may be slower than normal. To be expected. Add to that a man who is disabled and cannot stand for long in a queue going nowhere fast; you can guess the rest. Shall not be using that post office again, ever! In bloody agony now and still unable to post a simple parcel. This is what we get when we close all the subpost offices. A complete waste of time. Avoid. You'll be in there till Doomsday.

None of their opening times (online or on the door) are up to date. I found out today (only after standing in line with a dozen co-op shoppers) they close at 4pm weekdays. Of course don't bother calling them to get better information as they don't answer phonecalls anymore. Clear case of taking public money and taking the p.
