Beautiful setting around cod beck & trickling water at the top of a long, narrow, bending, winding road. Many options for walks around reservoir, or join cleveland way or coast to coast. No shops or toilets. Usually an ice cream van at peak times. Couple of small car parks, but over populated, particularly weekends, holidays & fair weather days & heavily congested on very narrow roads with lots of inappropriate & dangerous parking causing obstructions on sides of the very narrow roads. Spectaular views on way back down the north york moors overlooking Cleveland.
Small only one table in the shade of the trees good for dogs to cool off
Clean, tidy and quaint. Nice stream passing through.
One table , no views.
