Firefly Cottage Filey

We stayed as a group of 5 mature ladies and we absolutely loved our stay. Firefly cottage had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked with crockery and utensils, there were a few complimentary dish washer tablets but we took our own washing machine liquid. The place was warm , clean and tidy. There were lots of board games to play and a good selection of books to read. The bedrooms were great: 2 doubles, 1 with en-suite and the 3rd bedroom had 2 singles, my friend did say the quilts could do with being a bit thicker in there, she added a fleeced blanket from down stairs. Quilts in the double rooms were thicker. We enjoyed our cosy nights in listening to music, having a few drinks and lots of laughs. This is definitely a girly weekend we'll remember. You are literally a stones throw away from the pub we went for breakfast a couple of mornings, well worth the money £9-£12 ish and we enjoyed playing Bingo on Saturday night. We will 100% be returning to Firefly cottage.

This cottage is stunning and spacious with everything you need including dish washer, washing machine and BBQ area, table and chairs outside, they also cater for smaller children and have a selection of games, books and X-Box with games The lovely welcome gifts are an added bonus. This was our second stay and won’t be our last! The cottage is near the pub, shop and gym There is a pharmacy on site and the beach is only a 10/15 walk Filey is a small town and a perfect base to venture in the surrounding areas

We have been lucky enough to stay at Firefly Cottage this week. A lovely place with nice decor and was very well equipped. It was scrupulously clean. The facilities of the site were great and the info pack left explained everything. So nice that they allowed two dogs to stay as well. The beach was no more than 5 minutes away leading to a 2 mile walk to Filey. Highly recommend and know we will be back to visit again.

Oh my, this cottage has everything. The set up is lovely including a basket of blankets to get cosy. The cottage had everything you would need , the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with plenty of everything even when the dishwasher was full. The rooms/bedrooms all had plenty of towels and we did not miss anything that we needed. It was all very clean an ideal location and a lovely relaxing cottage to visit. The location for the pub, pool and beach were all within 10 minutes. We would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay at Firefly cottage with my mum and siblings! The cottage was comfortable and spacious but still cosy and homely - there were 6 of us adults and it never felt like we were on top of each other in the slightest. The cottage has everything you could need, and is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back!
