Outstanding place Excellent club house ran by Pat & Antony The onsite team ran by Dennis,are very approachable and friendly,nothing is to much trouble.

Came form two nights just a little get away. The site itself is lovely although I wouldn't be in a rush to come back. My reasons are. Park is very runned down. Toilet block not the cleanest, didn't have toilet roll in or hand soap at 1030am . Heard other people mentioning this and when I used again tea time it had been refilled. Kids out of control at 10pm at night and also large group of younger aged people up till all hours which wasn't great when I have a two year old son. Nobody going around checking if people are being respect of others around them.

Great layout, lovely people, good fishing too.

Just returned from Thirkleby Caravan park! Had an Amazing time! First time I have been and I must say I will be returning for sure! Not only did we catch the weather but we also caught some very nice Carp! Every one on the site are so polite and helpful. We participated in the bingo and the pub Quiz and had a few pints of lager. Which was a nice pint! Nothing is over priced! The bar staff were giving away free cake and cheesecake to the kids which was a nice touch! You can tell they are there to offer a service not have your eyes out. Value for Money! Very Clean well maintained site. Special thank you to the park manager for allowing us to book last minute and provided a space for us. 🍺☀️🎣🏕 ticked all the right boxes
