would NOT recommend. Pre booked to be collected after a friends wedding. Explaining we knew there would be another car full staying at the same place, we confirmed the time of 12:30pm and were waiting for them to come back after seeing our friends off as the same driver was supposed to come back for us. it got to 1am and still no driver, multiple call's ignored and eventually having to walk over an hour to our hotel. Which as you can imagine this was not ideal in the pitch black all dressed up from the wedding. Emailed the company to ask what had happened to receive no apology until i pointed out the fact no one had apologised. Apparently the driver thought we were all in the car. funny how all 7 of us were supposed to fit in one car. Absolute disgrace.
Used Chapman's tonight for the first time, lovely, chatty and reliable. Would definitely use again. Thank you!
Booked 2 taxis in advance for the weekend as it was the races and knew it would be busy. Mark was on time for both journeys, so no complaints there. Prices also reasonable, especially considering cost at the moment so again no complaints. Normally takes card machines but it wasn't working this weekend but wasn't a problem as we had cash anyway and he offered to stop off somewhere if needed. Would recommend
The driver who picked me up did a great job at being punctual and knew the area well. He helped us get a transfer on time and was very nice. The prices were great and I would 100% use Chapmans next time I am in the area.
Chapman’s Taxi’s have always provided a professional service for me and my family. When our grandad was terminally ill Martin assisted him in getting to and from appointments and was a wonderful friend to our family during this time. He has also helped me personally with charity events collecting donations for me in different areas which has helped me massively. Martin and his drivers are the only company that I would trust and use in thirsk as they provide a professional and prompt service every single time no matter what time of day it is. Great job guys 👍🏼👍🏼
