Station Road Car Park | I Park Services Ltd

Be very careful, I pre paid in the APOCA car par which is next to the station entrance. It was full on arrival, so I followed the sign next to it saying Station Car Park. This doesn’t say it’s a separate parking company on it, and certainly not clear if you park in the first few spaces in so I ended up with a £60 surcharge! Assume there are other signs if it’s busy and you need to go further in.

I have fined £50 for supposedly parking in the "wrong" car park at Thirsk Station car park. So beware when you do park here as it's not clear which app to use and I'm still not convinced we parked in the wrong spot for the app we used. below is the response to my appeal. Hope this helps others.... "Unfortunately, you parked in the TransPennine car park. Our car park signs direct you to pay use the APCOA appm telephone line or website. You paid your parking to the Tap2Park instead of to us. Thus, you were parked in contravention to the signage at the time that the notice was issued, which amounts to a criminal offence under the Railway Byelaws 2005."
