Halfords - Stockton

I arrived at the shop 3rd January 2026. One off the female staff members there was so kind & helpful, in helping me find the correct oil for my car. Made me feel at ease in the shop. I always get bit anxious going into shops and asking people for help. But the staff member who served me was so respectful and polite. So thank you.

I recently visited Halfords (Bridge Rd, Stockton) to have all my vehicle lights checked before my MOT. A staff member named Chris assisted me by checking and fixing the faulty lights. He was very polite, friendly, and helpful, and he carried out his job perfectly and professionally. After the service, I spoke with a Manager/Supervisor, who explained the Membership and available offers. I decided to join, and I’ve already received great discounts—not only for the work done on my car but also for the items I purchased in-store. Cannot fault the bike department staff, A* service. I took my son to choose a bike for Santa to deliver to him. He picked the Limited Edition Carrera Vengeance in Lime colour. The bike was definitely limited edition as it was completely out of stock anywhere local to the Stockton branch & not being replenished, I was willing to personally collect it from anywhere just so my son wasn't disappointed come Christmas morning. I spoke with the department manager Tom, & explained my situation, basically he took my details, said he would get back to me.....days passed & I thought I'd been forgotten about....phone rings, it's Tom & he's sourced one & had it delivered into store from the Blackpool branch. It's now paid & ready to be built to collect for Christmas day. Now I won't have a disappointed little boy thanks to Tom & the rest of the Halfords team who arranged it, much appreciated, thanks again!!!

We brought 3 bikes in over a few days. 2 needed new tyre/inner tubes, one needed a free check, followed by some repairs. I have to say that the service we received for all 3 bikes was excellent. Emma was first class in her attitude to us, her knowledge and her manner! I would certainly recommend Halfords in Stockton. Thank you

Save your money and fit it yourself.Turned up at 16:35 for a 16:45 pre-booking.Was told that they can't start until the booking time so I was too wait outside.I pulled the car into the fit bay at 16:45 ready for them to start.Another car pulled next to me they went inside and someone came out and started to replace their battery.It got to 17:05 so I went back inside and spoke to someone else and they said they didnt know anyone was waiting.Someone did then come out about 17:10 but said they could only loosen the nuts as they we not fit enough to lift the battery Another person did eventually come and connect the battery.But then had to disconnect it all to as they hadn't fitted the protective cover.Eventually everything got done well not until I fitted the protective cover for the neutral terminal and removed the magnetic light the fitter had left on.Overall an total shambles I could of fitted it quicker myself
