I recently purchased a pair of Skechers Pillar shoes from your Teesside Park store, and I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the service I received. After wearing the shoes just once, they caused severe discomfort and swelling on my small toe. The design appears faulty, as no customer should experience pain or injury after a single use. The shoes were so uncomfortable, something that should never happen with a brand known for comfort. When I returned to the store to explain the issue, the staff were completely uncooperative. Instead of listening with basic empathy, they repeatedly pointed to the terms printed on the bill and refused to acknowledge that the shoes may be defective or unfit for use. Good customer service requires understanding, patience, and humanity, especially when a customer is clearly in pain and the product has caused physical harm. I am highly disappointed by this experience. A brand like Skechers should prioritize customer well-being, stand behind the quality of its products, and address genuine concerns with care. I sincerely hope the company takes this feedback seriously, reassesses its product design where needed, and adopts a more customer-focused approach to returns when the product itself has caused injury or discomfort.

My experience with this store has always been exceptional. Today I was helped by Rose and Neve who took time to answer my questions and help me choose the best shoes for me. Rose even took the time to demonstrate the shoe cleaner that I purchased ! Thankyou .

Had a great experience here tonight, the staff were outstanding, so professional and helpful. Rose in particular was really patient and knowledgeable and assisted greatly in recommending and fitting some shoes for my Dad. Thank you Rose. What can I say other than “what a fantastic experience”. Having just had a hip replacement I was in the need of some comfortable easy fitting shoes. Rose from the Teesside Park branch approached myself and my wife and then spent the next 15-20 mins running backwards and forwards getting shoes for me to try on. Several pairs later I’d settled on two pairs plus a pair for my wife. Rose was helpful, courteous and full of life and has an awesome sense of humour. One outstanding ambassador for Skechers, which has spurred me to write this review. Thank you Rose. You’re a gem we will be getting friends and family to come in and ask for you.

We visited Skechers today to purchase shoes for my little boy. Rose could tell we were deliberating over which size shoe to buy and she kindly offered to measure his feet. She was incredibly kind and accommodating from start to finish. My little boy is autistic, and Rose showed such thoughtful care in including him while making sure not to overwhelm him. She created a calm, welcoming environment that turned what is often a stressful experience into something seamless and enjoyable. Thank you Rose!
