Cedar Retreats

Amazing place to stay. Our second time here and we will be booking again. Love the lake and the wildlife. The resort is very chilled and laid back. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable even my husband agreed and he takes some pleasing with beds. Our 1 minor issue are the outside chairs which are not very comfortable but this will not stop us returning. Ideal place for the summer. But out of season we go to places where there is a cover over the hot tub as this is what my husband enjoys. We could end up here 3 times a year if the tubs had a cover over them .

Stayed here for a romantic break away with my wife. Excellent location for exploring Yorkshire with plenty to do within a short drive. The Site is well presented and the staff were very helpful. Our lodge (6B) was well equipped and had everything needed to offer a relaxing experience in our downtime, including the hot tub. We had a great stay and would certainly come back.

Cedar Retreats is a fantastic little escape just outside Ripon, offering great value and a wonderfully relaxing stay. The lodge had everything we needed and felt peaceful and cosy, with the added bonus of a hot tub - perfect for an early morning soak while watching the sunrise and the sheep in the nearby field. Set in a lovely village and just a short drive from town, it’s an ideal spot for a quiet break. We’d definitely recommend it and will certainly be back.

We had a nice stay the staff were very welcoming and site is very peaceful. Its quite a basic lodge compared to places we've stayed previously, with limited toiletries, two coffee satches for a three night stay, one towel each. No extras to give a luxury feel and there's not a lot to do in the area depending on interests. The hot tub was lovely and well maintained.

Lovely place that was very very quiet! Hot tub was hot which was great. The lodge was nice and cosy. Negatives were the TV was tiny and the sofa wasn't particularly comfortable. The ducks came round several times a day and even brought the kids. All in all we had a lovely break.
