Wensleydale Ice Cream Parlour and Coffee Shop

Amazing visit to the creamery. Had a fab time. 1 adult and a teenager. Arrived to do the cheese experience at a reasonable price adult ticket and free child under 16. Watched a demonstration by a fascinating man who was very very knowledgeable on all things wendsleydale. After that we wentnto a different building where we saw the factory process and tasted some amazing cheeses ... fun Interactive displays for the children and adults also ..lol Then went on to the shops .. which has lots of various items to buy something for every budget. The cheese shop was very cool , temperature wise lol and again got to sample some different cheeses ... 🧀 😋 There was also a cafe and restitution area but we didn't visit these but from what I saw looked lovely. Had a queue for both. But it was dinnertime and a bank holiday. Also if you ask about the loyalty card you can make return visits within the 12 months of buying your tickets and there is no charge. Fab place . 10/10

A brilliant range of ice cream flavours and choice of delicious ice cream sundaes and cakes as well. A choice of inside tables and outside seating to enjoy the great views. Also a selection of hot food options we saw on the menu - toasties and jackets. On today’s visit it was all about ice cream and cake. We will definitely return when next in the area 🙂

Had a lovely ice cream here a few years ago and stopped in again as we were going past. Unfortunately you can't try flavours which is a shame. I understand if it's busy and there's a queue but there was no-one behind us at all, and I just wanted to try and decide between two flavours. On the plus side, I got a single scoop of the pear ice cream which was really lovely. Big portion for the price, and really creamy with pieces of pear in, and a really good flavour. Will be back!

We have newly discovered this place. It is a beautiful setting to have an icecream on the patio, surrounded by stunning scenery. Lots of unusual flavours as well as the traditional ones. I opted for the rhubarb icecream which was lovely.
