White House Farm - Beautiful Courtyard Rooms - Self-Contained

Sian is the perfect host. Thoughtful and professional. Everything was spot on. She catered for our every need, attention to detail, cleanliness, and well-appointed room. Breakfast was superb. This lady could teach others how to host!

We would highly recommend! The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and spacious….the shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. Great location for visiting Whitby and the surrounding villages. Sian, the host was lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. We had breakfast on the day we left and it was brilliant and there was plenty of it!

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at White House Farm recently. From our initial contact, from Australia, with Sian to our warm welcome on arrival nothing was too much trouble for Sian. From the beautiful scones on arrival, delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts, to advice on places to go or places for a meal, we couldn't thank Sian enough. Ugthorpe is located about 15 minutes from Whitby and 10 minutes from the Whitby Park & Ride which is the ideal way to get dropped into central Whitby. We based ourselves here for 6 days and did day trips to the many surrounding places of interest. Ugthorpe is a delightfully tranquil village surrounded by lovely countryside and views. The stay at White House Farm was one of the highlights of our trip and would absolutely recommend a stay there and enjoy Sian's hospitality and what the surrounding area has to offer.
