Absolute hidden gem of a brunch down the cobbles in Wakefield center.... Was a bit dubious because of the price (£30 for 2 hour including a full size pizza and side) but I was not disappointed. None of this finish your drink, order another and wait for 10 mins to be served... The drinks was flowing and I mean flowing and the selection to choose from was more than most brunches I've done, from spirits to cocktails to pressecco to bottles of beer everyone in our group was more than satisfied. The added extra of a DJ and the attentivness of the servers just topped off the whole experience. Will defo be back for the next group birthday Thankyou to everyone who helped make this the best brunch ever

Best place I've been for a bottomless brunch by far, both staff and the bouncer are really sound, never a time where your drink is low if you want another just ask, the music is always great too, the DJ's in are always great, the price is extremely reasonable for what you are getting too, so I definitely recommend! 11/10! If you are thinking of trying Mex Bar, do it you won't be disappointed!

Don't let the reviews put you off! Group of 9 of us came here on a Saturday evening for bottomless brunch (was busy with lots of groups also) staff were polite & drinks kept coming, had to ask a few times but they made them straight away and we definitely got our moneys worth in cocktails and bottles of prosecco. Food came out in bits so we did all eat at different timings and a portion was missing BUT the staff were really good and corrected it immediately and this didn't bother us massively although it would of been nicer to all eat together. It was a cold evening but we soon warmed up with the heaters upstairs. We would come back due to the selection of drinks / cocktails!

Nice bar originally, rude bouncers made the experience worse paired with dirty toilets with wee all over, dust on and around the bar, I also had a dirty glass which didn’t help, rude manager cursing out customers (including myself) I was asked to leave due to an incident not involving myself which was a misunderstanding and I was approached by a very aggressive bouncer, I asked to talk to the manager (which he told me I wasn’t allowed to) when I realised the manager was a young lady who had snatched my full drink off me right in the middle of the bar with no words spoken. Furthermore, I felt intimidated by the bouncer who was becoming increasingly aggressive as I tried to explain my situation. In the end I left with no further arguments but was rather shook up by the whole experience, especially the manager whom took me by surprise with her rudeness and aggressiveness. Not a great way to serve a paying customer who wasn’t even involved in a “situation”. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Always been my favourite spot for a brunch. Recommended alot of friends and family to come here. However Saturday 30th March was the worst brunch I’ve ever been on, waiting time for drinks felt like a lifetime. Had to repeatedly go to the bar for drinks when normally staff are walking around to serve you or take your drinks orders. The food was shocking in particular Garlic Bread what was burnt and tasted like cardboard. You can tell it’s gone down hill so much the bar was dead with hardly any people in. Real shame.
