I live close by, so I always use this train station. It's always clean and everything works like clockwork. There are toilets, cafes, waiting areas, lifts from the ground floor to the first floor if you have suitcases. Everything is great.

My worst nightmare came true. My train got cancelled along with everyone else's. But the staff at the station were so lovely helpful and reassuring with how I was to get to King's Cross. I want to say Thank you for looking after me.

Our first time taking a train at this station. It might have been a slow time of the day so there was not a lot of people which was lovely. There’s a Costa coffee and couple other stores and eastery should you get hungry.

Much smaller than you think. Platforms can get quite crowded when trains get delayed and beware when the sun is shining at full pelt shelter is intermittent. There are more benches outside than in until you reach the ticket barriers. There's a good selection of cafe and bakery outlets like Gregg's, Subway and M&S snacks to keep you fed while you wait. Outside has an astro turf slope to sit on with some shading from small trees. It would be a nice gesture for the town council to provide high backed benches for the elderly / disabled travellers to sit on in this area. I had 4 hrs to wait for my train and my limbs are not as limber as they once were. Toilet facilities adequate. NB no instructions how to operate the taps. This Autistic guide was baffled till l realised it was a push to start mechanism. Arthritic people may find that hard. Staff very helpful on the platform.
