After weeks of searching for a car, I saw a couple outside this showroom that looked promising. I ventured inside and was greeted by a salesman who helped me to look at the cars and test drive one which I didn't like. The salesman found me another one that sounded great, I looked round it, and test drove it, and was ready to buy it, it was a white 2020 Kia Sportage 1.6 mild hybrid with 56K on the clock, it didn't have a price on it but he knew my budget, so all was looking good. I really liked it. When we got back into the showroom, the said salesman said I'll go and work.out some figures. He came back with someone who I hade never met, he introduced himself but being hard of hearing, and the radio in the showroom far too loud, I didn't catch his name. He proceeded the spiel of "to if I can get the figures right, would you leave a deposit today?" "I said I would need to know the price of the car first, and would need to speak to my insurance company". He carried on saying " If I can get the price right, would you leave a deposit today?" and then "Get on the phone now to your insurance company, and I'll work out some figures" I said how much deposit do you need, and said "£1000", keeping in mind that it's advertised in the Cars2 website £99 deposit, and keeping in mind that I still didn't know the price of the car yet? He disappeared, and so did I. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PRESSURE SALES TACTIC I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED, I left feeling shocked, and gutted that I had missed a lovely car. The salesman, an Asian looking guy, should give customers some time and space, and respect their needs, above his commission at the end of the month. I would have bought the car at the right price, which I still don't know by the way. Today you lost a sale Cars2, to a good customer who had money to spend, through your duscusting pressure sales tactics and you inconsiderate attitude of your sales staff. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I would avoid at all costs, we were interested in purchasing a 48k car couldn’t test drive for a second time so two wasted journeys, also when we wanted to sit in the showroom car it wasn’t charged so couldn’t see the full effects, the car was also filthy inside and out full of dust which doesn’t make for a good sale. Service was very poor for a second time. My husband may have purchased his already but they have just missed out on me purchasing mine.

I bought my Mercedes Convertible from the Pure Cars showroom. The salesman promised to have the car fully valeted, chips sorted and any issues addressing prior to delivery. No updates, no news and eventually after 3 calls the car was delivered 2 weeks later. The car was delivered with one tyre deflated. On inspecting the car I was shocked, as none of the work has been done, and at best had had a quick wash. The car was delivered with stains on the seats, makeup around the rear passenger area, and soft top with jet washed zig zags covering the whole roof. On finding this, I escalated my concerns the the Cars2 MD. The car again was picked up. Cars2 had the car 3 days and when it came back.. the tyre had been pumped up and they had given the seats a token clean... and nearly forgot, had applied tyre shine. I have since spend £150 for a proper valet. False promises, shocking customer service, ghosted calls from the female service manager. I WILL NEVER BUY from Cars2 & Pure Cars again. Their Delivery Driver however is an extremely helpful and polite man and was the only positive part of my experience.

I strongly advise against doing business with Pure Cars due to our extremely poor experience from start to finish. Initially, everything seemed fine when we expressed interest in an Audi Q8. The main sales manager was insistent on a deposit to secure the car, which we agreed to. We then received a call offering a discount on Ceramic protection since we were purchasing the extended warranty. We accepted this deal, and this is where the problems began. We scheduled a date to collect the car, which was a 2-hour journey for us. The day before, we were notified that the car wasn't ready due to a fault found during inspection, which was our first notification of any issues. We rearranged our schedules and agreed on another date. On the day of pickup, we arrived at the dealership, but it felt like all the staff disappeared. We had to ask for the keys to see our car for the first time. As we approached, the sales rep mentioned that the window trim paint was peeling, something they just noticed, and offered to cover the repair costs at a garage closer to us. My partner inspected the car and found the rear splitter was hanging off, stone chips on the bonnet poorly repaired, extra scratches, makeup stains, crumbs, and other signs that it hadn't been fully valeted. We asked for these issues to be fixed, and they took the car to their garage, fixing the rear splitter and agreeing the paint chips were poorly done. They suggested leaving the car for further fixes, but we couldn't as we had already been delayed and made the journey again. We asked for a discount for the inconvenience. The manager refused to see us, communicating through the sales manager. They offered an extra £500 off but wouldn't fix the window trim, or they would refuse the sale. We reluctantly agreed as we wanted the car. Jasmine handled the sale, and we paid the balance, set up the car tax, and left with no goodbyes or thank yous. The next day, we noticed significant swirl marks on the car. Our local detailing garage informed us the ceramic coating was improperly applied, causing holograms. We had to pay £800 to remove the coating and correct the paintwork. Additionally, we received no paperwork except the sales invoice, and had to repeatedly ask Jasmine for the service and MOT history, which we received two months later. To add to our frustration, Jasmine mistakenly taxed a Jeep Wrangler in our name instead of our car, advising us we couldn't use our car until the new V5 arrived, which was false. We sorted the tax ourselves, but we never received a refund for the Wrangler's tax, which we paid for two months. In summary, our experience with Pure Cars was a costly mistake. We wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Avoid their ceramic protection unless you want to pay out of pocket to fix it later.

This weekend I bought an Omoda unseen that was listed on autotrader - Josh was excellent and patient on the phone, reassuring me that the spec of the car was exactly what I was looking for (which it was!) after our call he immediately sent me a video addressing any of my concerns buying a car unseen. This was then followed up by a call with Luke to check I was fully happy with my purchase. I arrived at the dealership early on the day of collection which was a small curveball for the dealership but they dealt with my dad and I with professionalism and were a very friendly bunch of people - Dave walked me through the paperwork before taking the time to fully explain all of my new car features and ensuring that everything was as I had hoped for! Excellent customer service & the garage has some really lovely cars in stock - you won't go wrong buying from Purecars / Omoda Wakefield and despite the dealership being an hour and a half from home for me, we will definitely be back in the future! Thanks guys x
