Unbelievable Prices at TG Jones (WH Smiths) how can you defend a price of £8.49 for a pack of 25 C5 envelopes ? Even at the multi buy fridge of Two for £10 that’s more than three times the price around the corner ! (£1.50 for 25) Truly Shocking Prices ! Not sure that rebranding is going to help with the reputation when it still says WH Smiths everywhere inside.
I went to the post office to send a letter. They don's sell envelopes. If you want to send a letter, once every 2 years, you are expected to buy a multipack of 25 envelopes, if youbare lucky enough for then to have the size you need. What a joke!
As someone that works in retail, the man working the post office section (long ish curly hair) had extremely bad manners and customer service skills. Very Patronising behaviour and overall an unpleasant interaction with this individual who was extremely unhelpful and blunt.
The post office in Smiths Wakefield the service was very good the lady who served me was very polite and knowledgeable l went there to send a parcel and get a renewed passport.. I would recommend any one to visit. Visited on Wednesday 13 March
The one star was because of the absolute rudeness of the guy behind the counter. I wanted to know where the pens were as I've never been to this store. He barely even acknowledged me and just vaguely gestured to where they were. I've never experienced such an odd encounter, not often do I feel bemused. Whether or not he's still working for you since I hope you train your staff better in future. Customer service courses are available over at Wakefield College.
