Confetti Cakes & Catering

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! The Facebook page says 'we're here to take the stress off you'...they were the ONLY vendor to give us stress!! Months of sending unread messages, unanswered phone calls and emails! Vendor constantly putting social media posts on saying 'messenger not working' or 'if I haven't replied please send me a message so you go back to the top of my phone'.. not that it worked mind you!! 11pm the night before the wedding they decided to come alive messaging asking what the design should be/flavours etc even though they had already been told! Also ordered 40 biscuits which they charged extra for because they 'needed to order a custom stamp to cut into the icing' but the stamp was a sticker on the icing & shoddy/blurry at best!! The biscuits are also from a well known supermarket & NOT made from scratch! Was charged more per biscuit than what a full packet costs!! The cake itself was nicely decorated but this overshadowed by the fact it tasted absolutely disgusting and many of our guests were in agreement - what an embarrassment!!! Please go elsewhere this vendor is completely unorganised, will cause you nothing but stress and is totally unprofessional!

So pleased with our wedding cake, buns and personalised biscuits! Zoe did the most amazing job and I couldn't recommend her enough. We had a 3 tier naked buttercream cake, with chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel flavours - delicious. She even added our decorations to put the final touches on. Collection was straightforward, with Zoe even helping to put the cake in the car. Hugely thankful!

On our wedding day a couple of hours before we were getting married I received a message from confetti cakes and said she had dropped the cake. I tried to phone her numerous times then she finally answered and promised me a cake would be delivered by her herself and her sister. However 2 hours later the wedding venue came knocking on my room door as I was about to leave to get married and said the cake wasn't coming. The venue kindly said they would go to her to pick something up. 3 hours after the ceremony the venue turned up with a cake not the flavours we asked for. The cake has more butter cream than sponge in it. I hope people read this before they order from confetti cake to avoid stress and disappointment like we did.

Regrettably I can't say anything positive about my experience with this service. There were major issues; the cake arrived late, looked nothing like what I expected with no decorations and was underbaked. Ruined an otherwise perfect first birthday party.
