About Corn Loft House B&B
Description
Originally a Corn Merchants, our traditional Yorkshire cottage provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for everyone that comes to stay. Outside the door our summer hanging baskets burst with blooms, and you'll find us in the heart of village life. Our rooms are en-suite, two of which have four poster beds, and you can be sure of a scrumptious full English breakfast to fuel your exploration of Holmfirth in Pennine Yorkshire.
Corn Loft is also a tearoom and post office making it a hub of community activity - if you want to meet wonderful Yorkshire folk then this is the place to be! You may also bump into a film crew or two for Holmfirth is home of Last of the Summer Wine - filmed in the area for over 30 years and final resting place of Bill Owen the show's best loved character, Compo.
On the edge of the Peak District, close to the route of the famous Pennine Way and nestle in acres of Holme valley countryside walkers and cyclists (plus their rucksacks and boots!) are regular visitors to Corn Loft House, and pets are welcomed by arrangement.
For a relaxing, comfortable environment, and traditional Yorkshire welcome, this is the place to stay.
