A great place to escape. The recent carving additions are amazing, lots of time and effort has gone into these for such a great set of new features to add to the graffiti/art work in the lower park.
Been for a walk around this park recently. It was clean and tidy Plenty of nice and friendly people walking around in case you might be worried about walking around on your own. I'm pretty sure you would feel very safe here. It's a beautifully kept park and like on this day you can get some great photos
Excellent views. Lovely place for taking dog walking.....until you meet the elderly gentleman with the little dog. Gentleman is friendly and polite. The dig seems friendly then growls and tries to attack your dog......stay away from them.
Went to Horbury Show organised by Wakefield Hospice - Lots for the whole family to do... I particularly liked the Birds of Prey Flying Display. Free entry and Free Parking - Great day out!
A nice, small circular path route which has a good amount of grass/fields to let the dog run around. Good amount of bins for litter, a nice playground for children and a basketball court which is frequently used. There has been some recent additions of carved, wooden benches which were beautiful. The park would benefit from all corner gates having the ability to be closed on a spring lock to make it more secure for dogs/children, as the park is surrounded by a busy road.
