Riverside Paint a Pot is a fun, family friendly pottery painting studio situated by the river in the newly refurbished and open to the public Queens Mill in Castleford. Riverside Paint a Pot is the easy way to explore your creative side, with friendly staff on hand to help you every step of the way. Everything you need for a unique creative and fun day out is here, great choice of pottery, paints, and cup of tea and cake as well. Here at Riverside Paint a Pot you can paint your own favourite animal, or personalise your own money box to save all that pocket money!  Along with a wide selection of other pots to choose from.  Create your own masterpiece to keep and show off to your friends. We have free parking, and beautiful views over the River Aire. Riverside Paint a Pot also offers Birthday Party packages; Ladies evenings and any other special occasions can be celebrated here. At The Queens Mill you can enjoy an afternoon tea, and lots of delicious cakes and food at the Tearooms, open Thursday to Monday.  The Queens Mill also holds open days throughout the year when you can access tours around the Mill to see the old Waterwheel.  During open days join historical re-enactors carrying out living history sessions, children’s entertainment, stalls, and dancing. Riverside Paint a Pot is open every Saturday so why not pop down to have some fun. And remember it not just for the kids!
