Cineworld Wakefield

Fantastic cinema! Always clean and tidy, staff always friendly. Cineworld Unlimited is absolutely crazy value for money at Wakefield for only £12.99 a month!!! I normally go a couple of times a week, sometimes more depending on what films are showing. Unlimited screenings never disappoint either, I was absolutely over the moon when the screening a month or so ago was Bring Her Back - It was most my anticipated film of the year and we got to see it early 🤩! Keep up the great work Team Wakey 👍🏼🎬

Some of the staff could really use some manners instead of ignoring customers. There is a manager who is really good though who seems to be the only redeeming quality at times. I have unlimited and visit the Wakefield cinema all the time but after today I am considering cancelling it and not coming back. This is after two young lads were messing about ruining the film, when I reported this nothing was done. To top it off when I said ‘ok thank you anyway, see you later’ I was completely blanked by two young female staff. Have to say I do usually have positive experiences here but also sometimes negative.

I was really looking forward to watching this film, to our utter disappointment the picture quality on the screen was very disappointing, everything was dark even the outside shots was dark the colours seemed to be flat, almost as if the brightness and contrast needed to be turned up. I even complained to a member of staff about a third of the way through who said she would look into it, unfortunately no improvement, when the film ended we complained to a manager who said no one had mentioned anything to him, and to be honest didn’t seam to care at all. Completely ruined the whole experience.

Always almost empty when we go so no problem with seats. It's comfortable with friendly staff.
