We are delighted that you are looking to host your Wedding with Great Garden @ Ackworth , which is located at Ackworth School.    The School is steeped in history and has many Listed Buildings on Campus, some of which are 250 years old.  The splendid Georgian buildings have had a number of uses, and we are now able to offer a flexible and bespoke Wedding Venue Experience.

The School is set in stunning grounds in the conservation village of Ackworth, which enjoys excellent transport links to the nearby cities and towns of York, Leeds, Wakefield, Doncaster and Harrogate.

Regarding rooms, the intimacy of Centre Library is ideal for reception drinks, where your friends and family can enjoy views of the grounds as the Bride and Groom pose for distinctive photographs amongst the centuries old colonnades and preserved authentic passages. 

Two dining rooms are able to accommodate 100 guests in each.  You may use one or both Halls, depending on the size of your wedding party.  

With regard to dining we can offer food choices to match your requests. Anything from canapes to a bespoke menu.

Great Garden @ Ackworth can also accommodate Marquee Weddings or can offer venue hire only.
