West Layton Manor

We had a lovely family weekend staying away at west Layton. The house is stunning. Couldn’t fault anything, Richard and the neighbours attached are very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you again!

Spent 2 nights at West Layton Manor for a wedding and were so glad we did. The owner Richard couldn't do enough for us, the rooms were so comfortable, lovely bed/bedding and toiletries with excellent tea/coffee facilities including a slice of home made cake each on arrival. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruits, pastries and whatever you wanted cooked to order. The location was perfect after a 7 hour drive, we enjoyed sitting looking out at the pretty garden watching the chickens and ducks. Highly recommend West Layton Manor.

We stayed at West Layton Manor for 2 nights at the weekend and it was just amazing. The manor is stunning and Sam, Hayley and Gill are wonderful hosts and such lovely people. We stayed in the Richmond Suite which was so luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, perfectly cooked and plentiful! The tables were beautifully set and to start with we were presented with croissant with butter and jams, a fruit jam and yogurt compote with granola and a selection of fruit. There is then a menu to choose from for your mains. With breakfast included in the price it makes for a very reasonably priced stay and I would highly recommend West Layton Manor to anyone. There is no evening meal at the manor but the family run the nearby Bay Horse pub and restaurant and as expected the food service and staff were exceptional. The whole family should be very proud of themselves. They always had a smile for you. Thank you all so much for making our weekend so memorable.

Thank you Richard and your wonderful team for a delightful stay. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated (especially loved the lounge). Our room was incredibly comfortable and everything you could need for a stay away from home. All the team were incredibly welcoming and at hand if you needed anything. We especially enjoyed the indulgent complimentary home made cakes with an afternoon cup of tea. The carrot cake especially was to die for! Breakfast was delicious and the dining rooms are nice and spacious and have a nice relaxed atmosphere to them. We will definitely be returning!
