Welcome to Crake Trees Manor, spacious and modern bed and breakfast accommodation in our wonderful converted 19thC Westmorland field barn at centre of the family farm.

Our farmhouse is surrounded by wildlife. Visitors will see wild Hare and Roe Deer, as well as many rare field birds.
Enjoy a really special breakfast spread in the sunshine, and relish the views from the enormous cart window.
Home-made granola, prunes in green tea and a seasonal platter of fruits, as well as my famous farmhouse platter of local bacon, Cumberland sausage with bitter apple, baked tomatoes and mushroom, with an egg just done as you fancy. Finish with locally made bread, marmalade, and jams to keep you going throughout a day of exploring Cumbria.

Relax in deep chairs by the wood stove.
We have 4 lovely en suite bedrooms.
Mickelbank, king size room with shower and views from many windows. Howebeck, twin bedded room with shower and a private balcony. Peasland, self contained king size suite with private entrance bathroom and balcony.
Demesne, our quirky double on the ground floor with a wall of glass.
All an easy mix of modern and antique furnishings.

Crake Trees Manor is the perfect base for Walking, Running and Cycling. We have recently become part of The Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Self guided tracks and trails start right from the farmhouse.
The winding roads and endless views can be as relaxed or as challenging as you choose. Explore and enjoy this part of hidden Cumbria that is steeped in the history of Castles, family conflicts and archaeology.
In the evening its a 15 walk through the fields to our community owned pub, The Butchers Arms, in the village.
The choice and quality of food in our pubs, cafes and restaurants has tremendous recognition.
Crake Trees Manor is approximately 10 minutes from the M6, jct 38 and the A66, Appleby.
