The Cakery

First time visiting this trendy cafe in the heart of West Vale, having had it recommended. Very impressed with the quality of food and the service was really efficient. We had the Nutella pancakes (very filling, but delicious) and the steak and eggs (perfectly cooked, tender steak). Nice atmosphere inside at 11:15 when we arrived, with background music at just the right volume and the tables spaced just the right distance apart. Being dog-friendly is also a huge bonus. Looking forward to my next visit.

We loved our brunch together at The Cakery! The food was very flavorful and well presented, I loved the amount of options that were available! The mocha with cold foam and marshmallows was an absolute treat, we had atleast two each. We were pleased at the affordability and quality if service. This was a great find and we will be back!

I visited with a friend for brunch and although we were late for our table due to traffic it was not an issue. We were shown to our table and left with menus, the menu is extensive and lots of choice, including festive specials. Our drinks order was taken and served quickly, the coffee is delicious! Our food orders were then taken. I ordered the maple, bacon stack with French toast, my friend ordered steak & eggs. Served quickly & nice and hot, cold food is my bug bare! Both were amazing, massive portions & SO tasty. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, the cafe itself is bright & clean. Staff are wonderful and polite. Definitely somewhere we will return to again.

My first time visiting the cakery and WOW. I got the chicken and chorizo sandwich with was packed with filling and then the bueno pancake stack. The food was 10/10. There’s still so much more on the menu I need to try!

A brilliant spot in Elland for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake. We popped in on the off chance without booking a table, as we needed a lunch break after moving into the area. They managed to accomodate the six of us with no issues and the server was great. The flat white was a beautiful roast, really smooth and well made, and the hot chocolates were rich and delicious. We had the pancake stack, eggs, and festive sanwiches all cooked perfectly and full of flavour!! It was great quality of food and drinks in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly service too — we’ll definitely be back soon. I already have my eye on several items on the menu. - I keep popping by for a takeaway flat white when i am passing, the coffee roast is unreal, best ive had.
