I travel all over the country. This has to be the worst fuel station. They never ever have enough staff on behind the counter!! Then you get to the front, thinking you are about to be served, and the staff member walks off and disappears!! Seriously. This services needs an effective general manager to operate it, and NOT a key holder!!
I was disgusted with my experience and this petrol station. Once filled up I was told the systems were down and they therefore could not take payment. They had no back up plan and informed me I would have to wait and legally I could not leave. 20minutes had passed and the staff had only managed several seemingly pointless phonecalls to head office. In the end I made the decision myself to withdraw cash from the cash machine which cost me an additional 4pounds! I filmed myself giving the staff the cash as they all seemed incompetent with no idea how to solve the issue themselves. I was an hour into a 300mile journey and this was not the delay I needed. The staff even continued to allow people to fill up creating a mass of people that were trapped and could not pay or leave. This was all whilst the fuel was 20% more expensive than anywhere else at over 1.50PL. I'd appreciate a reply here including contact details so I can complain directly to head office. 1 star is too much!
This BP forecourt seems to be clean and well-stocked. There is, however, an extremely small selection of M&S food, despite the name of the store. If you’re looking for M&S food, the store within the Moto building has a larger range. There is also a nearby M&S Food store in the centre of Wetherby. Petrol seemed reasonably-priced for a service station forecourt.
I'm a fan of BP. yeah ok admittedly I'm more of a wild bean girl. But omg. No milk for the latte. Couldn't get Gregg's app availability. Never got asked if I had a BP. I appreciate that they have Costa machines, had my stomach set on specific lol. I often stop off up at southwaite BP, which has the Gregg's app availability.
AVOID !!! This place takes the piss with overcharging . £29 for 1 litre castrol 5w30 oil ( £12 elsewhere ) to name one .. AVOID !!!
