A lovely appointment this morning!! Fringe trim with Michelle then an eyebrow wax and tint with the lovely Emma who I hadn't met before....what a truly wonderful person, great chatting about experiences it's amazing how much you can have in common with someone you've never met before. I shall look forward to my next visit 😃

Zero stars if I could. I had booked an appointment that I was genuinely looking forward to. As a mother caring for a daughter who is currently battling cancer, I don’t take self-care lightly—it’s something I rarely get the chance to do. I carefully arranged my schedule and blocked off the entire day, excited for what I thought would be a restorative experience. Upon arriving, I was met by a very young receptionist—possibly 15 years old—who informed me that I needed a patch test. While I completely understand and respect patch test protocols, I was told over the phone that it could be done the same day as the appointment, and that I’d also be able to get my hair and eyebrows done. This was the only reason I committed to the booking. Unfortunately, when I got there, I was told there had been a “miscommunication” and that none of the services I was promised could be provided. At that point, it was too late for me to make alternative arrangements. I had taken valuable time out of an already heavy and emotional life season for this—and left with nothing done. The lack of professionalism, clear communication, and overall accountability was deeply disappointing. I expected more. One star, only because zero isn’t an option.

I have been going to Blu hair and beauty now for over 10 years. I have had a number of the girls do my hair, Kasha has been in charge of my hair the last few years and always goes above and beyond to make sure the experience is the best and enjoyable. A few of the beauty girls have done several treatments on me which I cannot fault especially on how professional and calming atmosphere they always provide. The desk staff are always there to help and again like all the staff go above and beyond to help. The whole salon experience from the haircut, wash, style and the general chit chat salon natter is just the full experience anyone needs. Keep up the good work girls!

Another lovely visit to Blu Hair. I had a half head of colour and a cut earlier today, the salon was clean (as always). I have been going to Blu for a number of years having finished Uni. My mam goes too, we share the same hairdresser - my recommendation. I go for the same colour every time - full blonde!! And I love it every time - I finally feel like me again!
