We loved it here we also went to the pompacali earthworks a great day out , it is quiet and chilled out place we followed lots trails and found old ruins of scarcroft mill old railway lines and bridges where we had our snacks and drinks , it is easy to get to either by bus or car , we just loved it . Hopefully a return trip there .
Lovely nature reserve with a lot of wooded areas to explore. Was pretty peaceful and felt like we were on a little adventure as there were so many different routes! Take walking boots or shoes you don't mind getting muddy though!
Lovely little woodland. Lots of birds and squirrels, a great spot to escape from Leeds to. Some tracks can be a bit slippery and steep, but there is also a fairly accessible track along the outskirts too.
This historic woodland is an ideal place for a stroll, full of wild life and set in beautiful surroundings.
A good circular but extremely muddy in places, really interesting though and quiet, our dog loved it
