Lovely well maintained caravan club (CAMC) site with hard standing pitches and nicely kept lawn. Electric metered, shower & toilet block & recycling facilities. Enclosed site in a rural location at the edge of Helperthorpe. Friendly, helpful, interesting & knowledgeable owners - beautiful stay.

Maurice and Rita are lovely hosts. The cottage was really clean when we arrived. Cookies were a nice gift too.. A great position for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. If I was being picky I would say the double bed is uncomfortable but still 5 stars given as it is well worth what we paid to stay there. The Old Dairy is dog friendly too. Thanks again to our hosts who really were lovely.

Quite a small cl in a lovely rural location. Don't let the size put you off, it's very peaceful and quiet. Beautifully kept by the owners and a lovely welcome from them as well. Lovely little village but no facilities in the village. A short walk to Weaver Thorpe and you get a couple of pubs. You'll need transport for a shop though. Roads around here are amazingly quiet. Great for cycling. The coast is about 25 mins drive . Driffield, the nearest large town , is about 10 miles. A bit further is Beverly, highly recommended. Well worth considering this CL.

Great CL kept really tidy. Pitches are level and spacious. It’s completely open so gets the sun all day -if it’s out anyway!! The leccy is on coin slots! But, to be fair, we only used £6 worth (and we didn’t hold back since we used an air frier , kettle, wife’s hairdryer and even electric blanket before bed - well it was April! - so that made it a total cost of approx £22 per night. I think that’s very fair. The shower is brilliant too. plenty of pressure, hot and no silly push valve that you have to constantly keep pressing. The Hosts are very friendly and the location is great for bike rides, walking or trips to the coast. Also we had a good mobile signal on O2 service. I definitely recommend this site and we will use it again.

Just returned from our 2nd stay with Maurice and Rita on their idyllic CL. We were made so welcome and all pitches are level and spacious. We enjoyed the walk to the local pub and tea rooms 15 mins away and both are dog friendly. We will be back!
