Chose to eat in at Koko after having takeout earlier in the year as we wanted to try the starters. The menu is clearly marked with lots of vegan and veggie options. Delicious food and lovely, friendly service.
This tiny restaurant is truly a gem within Whitby. I visited during WGW in October/November and ended up getting takeout. The worker was very busy but she was so polite and gave me a time frame to come back and when I did it was ready. Gosh it tasted amazing!! I still think about how good it was that I had to come back months later to make a review (*´∀`*)
Lovely little place if you’re sick of fish and chips. The chicken was really crispy and the sweet spicy sauce was really tasty. Would also recommend the ssoduk-ssoduk - the fried rice cake was really good with the sauce. Limited seating space and no toilet in restaurant.
The amount of popcorn chicken in the takeaway bibimbap was a joke. Didn’t think I could taste any kimchi in the bowl. Just a very casually assembled bowl of rice that did not taste very good.
Hidden gem in Whitby. If fish & chip is too boring, strongly recommend this Korean restaurant. Friendly owner, delicious food, chicken drumsticks were definitely 100 marks. Small shop has about 10 seats. Price is reasonable at a famous tourist area. Absolutely will be return. Thanks for the sour candy :)
