The Moon & Sixpence is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, and on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Staff were lovely, it was a nice spot. The cocktails were okay - not much to the mojitos. For a cocktail bar expected a bit more. The food was good - but for the price it was a bit on the high side. However everywhere around the area the prices were high, but I understand that’s just the current economy. Would come again, but would not drink.
Sat outside and enjoyed a lovely mocktail. Spotted this place on our trip last year but it was always so busy which was a good sign. We managed to get a table outside one evening to enjoy a drink. I had the French martini mocktail which was lovely. My partner had the spicy watermelon margarita which well…wow! Look at the photo of it. Friendly staff.
Both the cocktail mocktail and the food are of very high quality. It is a bar and restaurant with no seating. As long as there is a table, you can sit down freely. In terms of food, a special recommendation is the octopus seafood with slow-cooked pork. The pork is full of fragrance and has a very good texture. The octopus is cooked to perfection and very spicy. All the alcoholic drinks are very good in terms of taste and taste. It is suitable for everyone to come here to chat with friends and enjoy a wonderful afternoon.
Lovely place to watch the world go by. Plenty of choice of spirits and cocktails and a really good pint of Guinness too. We will be back on our next visit to Whitby
Had a wonderful time celebrating a wedding. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. They even asked if we had a preference for the music they were playing. The food was delicious, everyone had a lovely meal and a free shot for the grooms was very kind. We will certainly come back! You made our day very special.
