Located on the West side of Whitby, Walkers Cottage nestles in a quiet yard, between Cliff Street and Silver Street. Built towards the end of the 19^th centrury, Walkers Cottage is centrally situated close to the beach, bustling quayside, harbour and Whitby town centre with all its shops, bars, restaurants and amenities.

There are superb views of the Abbey, the harbour, the town and surrounding countryside from the second floor bedrooms.

The cottage is conveniently placed for exploring the local area on foot. The Cleveland Way is also close by as well as the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and steam railway. Moors villages and the fishing villages of Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay and towns of Scarborough and York are easily accessible by car.

Established in 2000, Walkers Cottage is a family run business.  The cottage has been lovingly restored, renovated and maintained, providing a quiet cosy, convenient
well-equipped high quality accommodation, a real 'home from home'.

The ground floor comprises of a lounge, kitchen/diner and cloakroom. The first floor offers a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and one single bedroom. The second floor offers two bedrooms, one double and one adult bunk. Outdoor relaxation is provided by the well-equipped south facing enclosed patio area.

We are child friendly providing a high chair, cot, stair gates, crockery/cutlery, books and games. We are also very health and safety conscious, with smoke detectors on all floors, a carbon monoxide detector, fire blanket and extinguisher. We have an annual gas safety check certificate and carry out an annual fire risk assessment.

Visitor Parking permits and WiFi are provided free of charge.
