I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to some of the staff at Asda (Canterbury Avenue, Bradford) who always help me with my shopping and even take it to my car for me due to my medical issues when they notice I am struggling to do it myself. I will add the staff names on soon. Thanks again for a fantastic service and care for customers. Being a Customer Service Manager myself over the years, i can say I always receive an outstanding service here.

Went in to shop, had my trolley, got to the till, was informed rudely by a member of staff only self service was open!!! Imagine trying to put a trolley worth of stuff through self service. Its not as if they were short staffed, there was a manager of some sort, 2 staff at the self service bit and multiple staff across the store. Disgusting service. This is not the first time something like this has happened, last time I waited 10 minutes when someone decided to serve me, if you don't want people shopping with trolleys get rid of them!!!

Awful awful service. Went on Sunday in the pouring rain to get some baby formula and some kids meds before it closed at 5pm. Staff at the door said they were closed. Pointed out it was 10 minutes to 5pm and was told they'd DECIDED to close early! Conveniently for them at 4:50pm, the exact time I arrived. Asked why they're only telling me and other customers now where it isn't listed on their opening/closing times or their site. Got no explanation! One of the staff condescendingly said her shift actually ended at 4pm, as if I should already know this and was lucky she was there at all to turn me away. Ridiculous. If Asda want their staff to stay until 5pm they should pay them to do so. If they already do then the store should stay open until 5pm and not employ lazy oafs that want to get off early in bad weather. If you need anything in an emergency try somewhere else, who knows what random times they'll choose to close at whenever they feel like it. Asda price? Think twice.

The service was excellent from start to finish. Everything was well organized, clean, and easy to find, which made shopping very comfortable. The staff were always nearby if help was needed, and they handled everything professionally with a positive attitude.

I do not what has happened, to this Asda local branch. There are hardly any small trolleys, nor any big trolleys for shoppers to shop. Secondly when you do manage to find a trolley, your pound coin gets stuck and you need help from the staff. Thirdly twice I have been over charged for Lynx deodorants. On both occasions the staff did not apologise to me, nor did they have any shame or remorse. I am surprised no one, sees this and why they do not complain to the manager in charge. The standard of this place has dropped rapidly. I would give them, 0 stars if given a choice. It is so bad it lacks good customer service and friendliness. Asda you need to do better by your customers. Really disappointed. 😡
