Wilberfoss Community Centre

This is a fantastic hall and such a huge space. There are 3 separate areas that can be hired individually or out together to make a larger space. The hall is always clean and tidy. Trainmaster North & East Yorkshire have provided some train themed party entertainment for little ones in the hall which was a huge hit!

Great facilities, plenty of space and lots of versatility. The centre can be rented as a whole or in individual sections. It has adjustable partitions to change the size of the room. The kitchen is a very good size and well stocked with plenty of cups for teas and coffees. The hall and facility were clean and well maintained. It seems a little pricier than some other venues in the surrounding area for renting the whole venue, but the cost could be reduced by just renting part of it out, which would bring it in line with other similar venues. The quality and versatility beat most venues and it's high ceilings make it great for bouncy castles. Overall, I would strongly recommend this for venue for functions, such as birthday parties. The small room easily accomodated 36 children. Access via the A1079 is quick amd plenty of parking is provided.

A really lovely hall, with so many things going on.

This is such a great Community Centre! Its design and layout has been really carefully considered, providing space(s) suitable for large or small events/clubs/classes and a long bar/kitchen that would work well for a simple bake sale or a much larger catered event. Super clean, too! A nice, secure, gated community garden with picnic tables, plenty of parking, disabled toilet, plenty of tables and chairs and finally, a really lovely point of contact, Sarah, who makes booking and paying really efficient and easy as well as making sure that you have everything you might need. Wilberfoss itself is a lovely village and literally just off the A1079 so really easy to access. I run baby signing classes in and around York so use a lot of venues; this is one of the best!
