They only get 1 star because you can’t give none! Bought a van from these and had to return it 4 days later as engine management light came on and after further inspection had serious faults with the emissions system. Basically it was shot. Also after closer inspection both back wheel arches had been filled and sparyed to a terrible standard which they said they didn’t know about but it was fresh repair. Further more when I asked for a refund it wasn’t easy but they agreed BUT I also wanted my old van back that I part exchanged but they said it was sold but still a week later it’s on his website. DONT BUY THE TRANSIT CONNECT (silver) it’s knackered!! They should sell horses yeeeeeehaaaaaa!!!

I agreed to take my original review down given the fact they agreed to repair the van. But given the fact I’ve had it back 4 weeks and it’s now broken down for a 4th time this one will be staying up. Bought the van at the end of August in good faith after hearing nothing but fantastic things about this company, turns out they do not care about their customers and have absolutely appalling customer service skills, especially Nathan, ought to hang his head in shame after the way he tried to speak to me. Only one day after taking the van home I mentioned an oil leak around one of the injectors, slight engine temp fluctuation, and breaks screeching quite hard, and the tracking still out (this was agreed to be looked/sorted after test driving the van as I spotted it straight away) Agreed to drop the van off while I went on holiday for around 10 days. Picked the van up when I got back, nothing done with the brakes, tracking still out, checked on the oil leak a few days later and still there. Fast forward to October, I was setting off to work one day and noticed the temp light flashing red. Messaged the salesman who choose to ignore my message which prompted me to write my initial 1 star review. They had the van in and diagnosed an oil cooler seal and agreed to replace the brakes, I also mentioned the tracking for a third time and was again agreed to be looked at. Nathan (one of the owners) rang me and we had a conversation about what was going to be done. He tried to blame the tracking on myself for swapping the wheels to a slightly bigger diameter. I said to him that the tracking was out when I first test drove the van and has nothing to do with the alloys what so ever. None the less they fixed the leak and did the brakes so I left it there. Only TWO days after having the van back again. The glow plug light was flashing, EML on dash and van in limp mode. Took the van back for the 3rd time and it was diagnosed with a faulty injector. Nathan voice messaged me off of his personal number and agreed to do me all 4 injectors and provide a 2 year warranty and also “wanted to talk to me about my bad review”. I said to him I will be fair once again and take the review down given he was fixing the fault and putting it all to bed. I’ve now covered approx 500/600 miles since having the injectors replaced and the exact same fault has come back again. I limped the van back to wombwell (would not go over 15/20mph) and messaged Nathan saying I did not want the van anymore. His response was he couldn’t do anything until the 5th of January. He then tried fobbing off YET AGAIN saying it was “to do with it being cold outside” and told me “Move it and we will deal with it on the 5th👍🏻” I went back into the store on 27/12/2025 and handed the keys in as I have chose to reject the van for a refund. I’m now stuck without a means to get to work and have the wait until the new year to get my money back for something which has done nothing but failed me. I have only covered around 2,000mi in the van since owning (bought end of August) and Car Seekers have had it for the best of 4 weeks “fixing it” I strongly advise you working on your customer service skills and arrogance towards your customers who hand over hard earned money. I expect my money to be back in my bank before you “deal with it on the 5th👍🏻”

Highly recommend this company, after purchasing my dream car, just want to give a special mention to Tom he was brilliant and contacted me start away when I was interested in the car even drove 45 mins it was definitely worth the trip! The car was in brilliant condition after it had its body fixed due to marks from the previous owner! Couldn’t be any more happier!

If I wrote down everything good about my experience with Matt & his team at car seekers in Barnsley it would be way way way too long for a simple review here. I found them by accident while looking for a budget runabout! Wow, did I for once in my life drop lucky. I was at the cheap end of the cars sold here but you'd never have known it, the level of customer care went way beyond the norm & everything they promised to do was done to the highest degree possible, without exception. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, accessable but above all, honest! A 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ firm in every single way, a wonderful purchasing experience from start to finish, I honestly can't recommend these guys highly enough! Thank you so much to all of the staff that dealt with me! 👍👍👍👍

The dealer is not trustworthy in the slightest - had taken over a 6 months to settle finance on one of my vans, then a further 3 months to align payment to my finance agreement meaning I’ve over paid and fighting for over £1500 back from the finance company, and now both directors have suddenly contracted amnesia to the conversation as to what I would be paid for the vans and are trying to force a far lower price on me, the directors (especially Dan) do not communicate, I have had to drive down over a half a dozen times to try and sort it out. They are conmen - my dealings with them have been going on nearly 14 months now and I rue the day I ever decided to use them. Buyer and seller beware alike. Edit - they obviously don’t like honest reviews as within half an hour have been emailed a defamation - cease and desist, so I’ll make it clear on here as I did by email. I stand by all my comments as true and representative and this is my honest review and opinion. If you don’t like it see you in court. Edit 2 to rebuff your response which is nothing but fantasy. The vans were to be sold and included in a deal with my other van to buy a brand new one- a van that after 10 months had not materialised and I pulled out of the deal as I had lost confidence in both your salesman and your business after uncovering lie after lie. A fact which is backed up by you sacking the salesman as previously stated to me by you Nathan. Before his demise though there was a meeting where 4 people were in attendance - myself, you, your business partner and the aforementioned salesman, where you berated him (the salesman) for not stating up front the specifics of the deal as all I had been told was he would get me as much as possible for the sale of the 2 vans to facilitate the purchase of the new van and that he realised I was being trusting on this, and due to having bought from the salesman before I had no issues with this as he had indeed gained my trust that was then eroded after the non materialising van and the 10 month debacle. You then asked the salesman that he was indeed trying to get as many ch for the vans for me as possible for the new van deal to which he agreed - I then asked so what does that actually mean to what I get - you replied well our sale price minus our costs which you stated would be around £500 - repeated this and asked for clarification, to which you repeated and did indeed clarify. And that’s when you and your business partner have now miraculously developed amnesia as neither of you “remember” this agreement. You are now completely gone back on this and are withholding payments due to me as I will not bend to the lower price. I won’t, and will see you in court which is the only threat I have ever made, even though you would like it to read that I’ve threatened physical violence, which I haven’t - but I will indeed see you in court - your response just shows even more how morally disgraceful your business morales are and I hope many take heed of this review - AS IT IS A TRUTHFULL AND HONEST REVIEW.
