The Fig & Olive

Went with my 101 year old father. We had a very warm and friendly welcome, seated, and ordered 2 excellent breakfasts. We have been several times now and the quality of the food has always been outstanding. I can't escape without buying some of their delicious desserts. Love the place.

Delightful little tea room with a menu to match. Set in beautiful surroundings. Indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed posh cheese on toast with mushrooms followed by a delicious piece of chocolate brownie served with cream. Dogs are welcome both indoors and outdoors, and they can enjoy a freshly cooked sausage served on its own little plate. Very clean and cosy, friendly helpful staff, free off street parking, disabled toilet, and baby changing facilities. We will definitely be visiting again 😊

Have visited on several occasions now - seems to be a popular place. The place has recently undergone a massive renovation and looks so much better for it! Beautifully decorated inside. Decent number of tables both in/outdoors. Large disabled toilet with baby change facilities and high-chairs available. There is currently no menu to view online, but I was sent this via social media ahead of our visit upon asking. There is an all day brunch menu and then an additional lunch menu, along with a list of specials (no prices on specials board, though), and a range of what I assume are home-made cakes on the counter. Good quality barista coffee and drinks selection. The food we have had is very good quality and large portions! I would say that the business is showing initiative with regards to different diets, my friend is vegan and when the manager learnt of this they came over and explained what alternative options they had come up with for her (they’d written a list as I’d let them know in advance we were going visit). They seemed keen to be able cater for her, where we have found some other local cafes are not. The staff generally always seem friendly and happy to help. We’ve also been for the Festive afternoon tea in the past and this was both delicious and well presented. Will certainly been keeping this as a regular haunt!

Fantastic quaint little cafe. Great brunch options and the food was spot on. I definitely recommend the sausage patty scramble was to die for, so was the Caesar salad and quiche. The coffee’s were also excellent, not forgetting the friendly service. Must visit spot

Great atmosphere and service. Well worth a drive out for a brunch or coffee There is an extensive menu plus a specials board. Everything from a bacon butty to a steak pie. It is also good to see many many calling in for a take out.
