North Yorkshire Water Park Fisheries

My son and husband had a wonderful four hour fishing experience today, my 13 year old was chuffed to bits because he caught so many fish 🐟. It's a gem of a place and we would return in heartbeat but the whole experience wouldn't have been the same without out Olly! what a kind, friendly, helpful young man he is, he kept checking in with us for a chat and just to make sure we were managing ok. He's a credit to your business and it's certainly in good hands when he's there. Thanks again for a brilliant day😊

Lauren and James are a fantastic example of how a fishery should look and run, they go above and beyond to help and cater for everybody! They’ve worked extremely hard to get this lake looking how it does now. This place is exactly what it needed! Recently visited the fishing lakes and it is so wonderful to finally see the place getting the love and care it has needed for so long! Highly recommend a visit for all my fishy friends, I will be back soon!

Fishing in beautiful surroundings. Under new management, James & Lauren are lovely people and are hard at work refreshing the surroundings!

Lauren and James have turned this fishery into one of the best in the North of England. It is set in beautiful maintained surroundings but notably the trout fishing is fantastic with a good mix of rainbows, browns, tigers. Sizes range from 2 1/2lb to some recently added double figure browns, the largest 20lb+ Fishing in the gin clear water can be frustrating so keep changing patterns and depths and you will catch. Anything from small nymphs/buzzers to blobs on an intermediate or sinking line to dry flies will get you a result. The fish fight like tigers in the derp clear water. Give Wykeham a visit you wont be disappointed.
